Obituary for Forrest G Albright

Forrest G. Albright, 61, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital in K.C., MO. A visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:30 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2014 at Rollins Funeral Home, in Platte City, MO; followed by a 7:30 p.m., memorial service. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions can be given to help with funeral expenses, in care of Rollins Funeral Home. Forrest was born June 30, 1952 in Los Angeles, CA to Laurence Howard and June Estelle (Engel) Albright. He came to Platte County, MO in the early ‘70s where he’s lived since. Forrest worked as an automobile mechanic for several local shops around the Platte City area. He was co-owner and operator of the C & F Bait Shop in Tracy, MO. Forrest had a passion for the outdoors, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and many other outdoor activities. He loved spending time with his family and friends; and enjoyed cooking. Forrest was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Laurence. He is survived by: 2 sons Scott (Christina) Luna of Tulsa, OK, and Tim (Shelley) Albright of Gower, MO; 2 daughters Crystal Albright of Las Vegas, NV, and Stacy Neary of Platte City; his brother Andy Smith; 2 sisters Cheri Albright-Suedahl of Montana, and Shelly Albright of Oregon; his best friend Teresa Albright, of the home; 4 grandchildren; and his 2 dogs She & Her.
