Bonnie L. Judy, 66, of Platte City, MO passed away March 29, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic, in Cleveland, Ohio. A visitation will be held 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City; followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service, at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Weston, MO. The family suggests contributions be given to The American Cancer Society. Bonnie was born October 1, 1946 in Dover, OH to John E. and Betty Jane (Cooper) Page. She was raised in the Dover area, and was a 1964 graduate of the New Philadelphia High School. Bonnie married Danny Albert Judy on February 6, 1965 in Strasburg, OH. They moved to the Kansas City area in 1968. Bonnie was of the Lutheran Faith. She worked as a forklift operator for McCormick Distillery in Weston, MO for several years. Bonnie loved the outdoors, enjoying bird watching, flower gardening, and raising Coy in her fish pond. Her most memorable trip was a backpacking adventure with her family in Alaska. Bonnie was preceded in death by: her grandparents John and Mary (Schilling) Cooper; her parents; and her uncle Jim Page. She is survived by: her husband Dan, of the home; her sons Danny (Kate) Judy of Roswell, NM, and Jon Judy of Plattsburg, MO; her daughter Jennifer Blackmore of Platte City; and 6 grandchildren.
