Micheal Wayne Woods, 40, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at North Kansas City Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. A visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22 at Vaughn Funeral Home in Weston. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 23, at the First Baptist Church of Weston. Interment will follow at the Graceland Cemetery in Weston. The family suggests contributions be given to a memorial fund for Micheal’s children, checks payable to Carrie Woods. Michael was born August 14, 1976 in Chillicothe, MO to Gary Lee Davis and Larita Sue Woods. He was a high school graduate, and worked for Hulcher Derailment Services. Micheal married Carrie Ann Bryant on May 22, 2004 at the First Baptist Church of Platte City; and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weston. More than anything else, Micheal loved spending time with his family. He earned his 2nd degree black belt in Kung Fu, which was an endeavor he began with his wife and children. Micheal is survived by: his parents; his wife Carrie of the home; 4 sons Damion Woods, Quin Tabor, Vance Woods, and Titus Woods; 3 daughters Katlin Woods, Madison Tabor, and Jasmine Woods; 1 brother Spencer Lee Davis; 2 sisters Courtney Woods, and Lynzee Davis; and 1 grandson Bentley Tatum.
