Obituary for Nate Adrian "Coach" Danneman

On April 19, 2017 heaven gained a great one to roam its sideline. Nate Danneman, most of you know him as Coach Danneman, was a devoted husband to Tabitha and father to two sweet and sometimes sassy daughters Tayban and Maybree. As the Head Football Coach for West Platte High School Nate was an influential pillar who instilled discipline, passion, and courage to young men. Coach Danneman was a masterful game planner and that is why I am here writing this today. There are no game plans in life that can prep you for an event such as this tragedy. Nate was a leader of your men and had the ability to get the most out of oneself. Nate was driven in all aspects of his life by family, coaching and especially his time spent in the outdoors. Nate was born May 24, 1979 in Kirkwood, MO to Kenneth Mark Danneman and Cherdawn Rubell (Waters). He was a 1997 graduate of Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton, MO. Nate was a graduate of Missouri Valley College, later earning his Master’s Degree from Lyndenwood University in St. Charles, MO. Formerly head football coach for Drexel, MO, and teacher and coach for Richmond High School, Richmond, MO, he was currently serving as head football and wrestling coach, and physical education and weight training teacher for West Platte R-II High School in Weston, MO. In addition to the passion Nate had for his students, he was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. Nate is survived by his wife Tabitha; his daughters Tayban and Maybree; his pets Lexus and Brewser; his parents Cherdawn (Robert) Wozniak and Kenneth (Cindy) Danneman; his twin brother Jake (Tiffany) Danneman and brothers Wayne (Wendy) and Benjamin Danneman; his nieces and nephews Charlotte, Alexandra, Skylar and Gauge; his in-laws Glenn and Susan Watson; and his brother in law Brent (Jessica) Watson. A visitation will be held 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2017; followed by a 3:00 p.m. memorial service at the West Platte R-II High School Stadium in Weston, MO. Memorial contributions can be given on Nate’s GoFundMe page.
