William G. Rock, 90, of Platte City, Missouri passed away on March 22, 2018. Bill was born in Hope, KS on December 18, 1927 to Harvey and Elsie (Haas) Rock. He was one of eight children. He graduated from Chapman High School. Bill served 2 years in the U.S. Navy and 5 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He and his first wife Elsie moved to Missouri and had two sons. He owned a Ford Tractor Dealership for 25 years. He married Adelina in 1977. For 30 years he was a real estate broker and owner of Rock Realty. Bill loved skiing and was an avid cyclist. He completed the RAGBRAI route 4 times. Bill is preceded in death by 5 brothers; 1 sister; and his son Barry Rock. He survived by wife Adelina; sister Delores Field; son Alan Rock; grandson Brady Rock; 3 Step-Daughters; 8 Step-Grandchildren; and 7 Step-Great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Monday, March 26 from 10-11 am at Rollins Funeral Home, prior to the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment with military honors will follow at Platte City Cemetery.
