Debora Lynn Rose (Hedden) age 64, of Liberty MO, went home to be with the Lord on Monday September 26, 2017 after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was surrounded by her family she loved so dearly. She was born and raised in Kansas City KS and lived there until she and her husband, John Rose, moved to Weston, MO where they raised their family. As an adult some of her accomplishments were serving as an Election Judge, Tax Preparer, EMT, Registered Nurse, and many years of being a room-mother at West Platte, but her most cherished accomplishments were becoming a mom, a child of God, a grandma and a great-grandma. These last four were her greatest joys and defined her life. She was preceded in death by her dad, Morris C Hedden, her mom, Helen V Sprague, her sister, Pearl M Graham, her stepsons Johnnie Rose, Brian Rose, and grandson, Joshua Rose. She leaves behind her loving children Nathan & Rachel Rose, Michael & Angie Rose, Reynda Rose and Dennis & Debbie Weaver. She also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Elizabeth, Nathan “Bear”, Hannah, Royce, Gracie, Brennan, Caleb, Jane, Allison, Mallory, Cameron, Megan Weaver, Nicole and Paul Pettigrew, and great grandson, Levi Pettigrew. Also all her siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins and her many, many friends that she held close to her heart. A visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 29 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Mount Bethel Cemetery in Weston, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to the Liberty Baptist Church, 1000 Birmingham Rd.—Liberty, MO 64068.
