Vickie Hazel (Brandt) Talbot, 64, went to eternal life on Saturday, January 28, 2018. She was born in Leavenworth, KS on Sept. 23, 1953 to George L. Brandt and Betty J. (Todd) Brandt. She resided in Platte County, MO for her entire life. She graduated from West Platte High School in 1971. She was very passionate about her family and friends as well as her gardening, traveling, flowers, fishing, and hunting mushrooms. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Floyd E. Talbot, her daughter Georgie A. Talbot, a 4-legged son Dudley Dewright, 2 granddaughters Kelsie R. Way and Mariah K. Way-Abbott, brother Ronnie (Sharon) Brandt, sister Kathy (Dan) Young, sister in law Judy M. Talbot, several cousins, nieces and nephews including a great niece and nephew, plus many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents Ned N. Todd and Beulah H. (Kincaid) Todd, paternal grandparents Herman G. Brandt and Virginia R. (Davis) Brandt, and uncles Joseph Todd and Charles Moses, and aunt Katherine Moses. A visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Vaughn Funeral Home in Weston. Cremation will follow, and a Celebration of Life will take place later in the year. Please, in lieu of flowers, make donations to her funeral fund payable to Vaughn Funeral Home or Floyd Talbot/Georgie Talbot.
