It's very difficult to express the sadness I feel. I worked with Shirley at the Department of Revenue for many, many years. It was a pleasure. (Yes Pam I remember you there also in the cashiering section!) I think my best memories with Shirley were when we worked at Kelly's Basket in Holts Summit, MO in the late 70's. What fun times we had. I remember little JD coming around quite often. Shirley epitomized what I call "Good People". May she rest in peace! No truer words have been spoken.... "Although it may be difficult today to see beyond your sorrow, looking back in memory will help comfort you tomorrow". "While death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal!" (Author Unknown) My heart is with Porter, Pam, JD and the rest of Shirley's family in this time of sorrow.
