With deepest sorrow, we announce that Jessie Harris, 23, our most beloved son, brother, family member, and friend passed suddenly on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in a car accident. Those who knew Jessie, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. Jessie will be missed every day by his father Brian Harris; mother Dawn Mitchell; brothers Eric Harris, Brian Harris, and Brandon Harris; sister Taylor (Spencer) Hancock; brother Larry (Chelsie) Harris; sister Hayley Harris; nephew Spencer “SJ” Hancock, Jr.; and nieces Alaina Harris and Paisley Hancock. We know Jessie is now with his grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins, and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven. We LOVE and miss you so much son, brother family, friend XOXO. It’s sometimes hard to know why some things happen as they do for so much joy and happiness was centered around you. It seems so hard to comprehend that you’re no longer here but all the happy memories will help to keep you near. You’re thought about with pride, son, with each mention of your name. Death cannot change a single thing, the love will still remain. A graveside service will be held January 29, 2021 at 1 pm at Dearborn Cemetery in Dearborn, MO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
