Daniel Lee Tate, of Platte City, MO, passed away Monday June 1, 2021 at St. Luke's North. Danny was born and raised in Tracy, MO to William K. Tate and Norma L. Hulett on September 23, 1950. He was a strong, proud, and loving son, brother, uncle, and friend. Danny served his country after graduating in 1968 for 2 years in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed deer and mushroom hunting along with fishing on his free time. He leaves behind his sister Patsy M. Mize and brother Richard W. Crump. He is preceded in death by his parents Willian “Bill” Tate, Norma L Hulett, Abe “King Daddy” Hulett, brothers William “Deanie” Tate, James “Jimmy” Tate, and sister Rose E. Dunn. Any Donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Rollins Funeral home in Platte City. Inurnment with military honors will take place at Larkin Cemetery in Platte City on Saturday, June 19, 2021.
