Tanner James Polsgrove, 19, of Platte City, MO, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza, K.C., MO. Tanner was born March 21, 2003, in North K.C., MO to Tyler James and Jocelyn Dawn (Bartlett) Polsgrove. He was raised in the St. Joseph, MO area, before moving to Platte City. Tanner attended Tiffany Fellowship Church in K.C., MO; where he played guitar and sang in the youth band. He was a gifted singer and musician and always put his love for God as his top priority in life. Tanner loved sports, and enjoyed playing baseball, collecting baseball cards, was an avid Royal’s fan, and was a competitive swimmer, as a member of the Blue Wave swim team in Platte City. He was also a golfer and enjoyed working at the Shiloh Springs Golf Course in Platte City. As a nature lover, Tanner enjoyed taking trips with his family and especially enjoyed trips to the ocean and Mozingo Lake in Maryville, MO. He is survived by his parents; his siblings Cade and Shae; his grandparents Mike (Candace) Bartlett, and Rick (Donna) Polsgrove; and Tanner adored his aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Following cremation, a celebration of Tanner’s life will be scheduled and details will be announced. Memorial contributions can be given to Tiffany Fellowship Church in Tanner’s memory.
