Joan Helen Farren (Stuckenschneider), 73, longtime resident of Platte City, MO, passed away January 11, 2023. Joan was born in Union, MO on February 3, 1949 to Larry and Helen Stuckenschneider. She was married in 1972 to Chris, the love of her life, and had two children, Jessica and Michael. For many years, she worked as the cafeteria manager at Chinn Elementary School in Kansas City, touching thousands of lives, Joan was preceded in death by her mother Helen, and brother James Stuckenschneider. She is survived by her husband Chris, children Jessica and Michael, father Larry, and sister Jane. A visitation will be held 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., Monday, January 16, 2023 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Wayside Waifs animal rescue or the City Union Mission of Kansas City.
