Obituary for Jose Luis Serrato Baeza

Jose Luis Serrato Baeza, age of 79, of Weston, Mo passed away peacefully on January 30th, 2023.
Jose was one of the kindest and patient individuals anyone could ever know.
He was a Big Kansas City Chiefs fan. He loves to fish and spend time with his family.
Jose was a Union Member of the local 518 for over 25 years and made a living as a Plasterer for 30+ years before he retired.
Jose was born on January 1st 1944 in Uriangato, Mexico. In 1979 he moved to the United States for a job opportunity and later met his wife Jane. They got married in Platte County Missouri,March 23rd 1991.
Jose is predeceased by his parents Miguel and Carmen Serrato Baeza. He is survived by his wife Jane Serrato of the home. Step sons Dennis (Lacey) Downing, Michael Downing(Deceased) and Step Daughter Ashley Menninger. Grandchildren Emma,Dawson,Haley and Mikey Downing
Andrew,Nathan,Katrina LaPanne and Alicia Bloem. Jose has 6 Brothers ,Raul (deceased)Miguel,Jesus,Onofred and Octavio(Mary) Serrato and 3 sisters, Elena,Laura and Patricia
Sister in Laws Pearl (Steve) Day, Beverly (David) Knight, Doris Cooper, Fay Hubbard,JoanWebb(deceased),Linda(Herbie)Hobbs,Barbara(Keith)Davis,Debbie(Steve)Currier,Brother in Laws Sam Brady and Gary Brady (deceased)
Followed by 9 great grandchildren and Many Nieces and Nephews in Mexico and the United States. A visitation will be held on February 11th from 1-3 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Weston Mo,
With a future cremation Burial in his home town of Uriangato Mexico where he will be laid to rest beside his parents.
