Ann Marie Harris, 75, of Dearborn, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be at Vaughn Funeral Home, Weston, Missouri on Thursday, May 11th, 2023, from 5-7pm with Rosary at 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be offered for Ann on Friday, May 12th, 2023, at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Weston, Missouri. Ann was born May 10th, 1947, in Lisle, Illinois to Joseph & Helen Shimek. She worked for many years in Chicago, Illinois, for various financial institutions, which is where she met her husband, Mark L. Harris. Ann & her daughter, Jenny moved to Weston, Missouri in 1983, to be with Mark. Ann was very active in many volunteer positions. She served on St. Luke’s Northland Hospital Auxiliary, Missouri Hospital Association, Parkville Women’s Clinic, and the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Women’s Guild. Ann devoted many hours to the Arts & Environment Ministry at Holy Trinity. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Harris; parents, Joseph & Helen Shimek; and her brother, Joseph Shimek. Ann is survived by her sister, Jan Kahl of Mendota, Illinois; her daughter, Jenny (Dave) Marsh; grandchildren; Joseph & Emma Marsh, all of Platte City, Missouri; sister-in-law, Linda Shimek; niece, Stacy (Royce) Harmon of Franklin, Indiana; and her mother-in-law, Harriet Harris, of North Kansas City.
